    The only requirement to volunteer is an interest in electric vehicles and a desire to use your talents to accelerate us to a cleaner, brighter world. A world free of the unhealthy effects of fossil fuels.
    EV ownership not required.

With the people you will meet, the information and learning you will gain, belonging to a local chapter of the Electric Auto Association will give you a welcoming place to use your talents to effect change in our world.


Volunteer Opportunities:
4 Directors for EAA Board- Upcoming Elections

Our goal is to have the most dynamic, bright, motivated Directors we can attract. We seek gender equity and representative ethnicities serving on our Board.  We are especially looking for talents in the areas of Membership, Chapter Development and Services, Fundraising, Current Events,  Marketing and Advertising, Web Management and Website Sales.


Monthly meetings are conference calls (2ndTuesday) and there is one in-person/call in meeting in January in the San Francisco Bay area, California (4thSaturday). Directors take on responsibilities in 1-2 Activity Areas.  Time commitment is variable, but a good rule of thumb is 2 hours a week.


The election will be held at our Annual Meeting,Saturday, January 26th, 2019, 10 am – Noon, 


Candidate statements must be submitted no later than November 30th, 2018, when nominations close. You can nominate yourself, or someone else. Sample candidate statements are available. For questions and additional information, please contact, Simon Freedman, Director. at: SimonF@roadrunner.com.

Administrative

Help administer new perks for membership supporters. Track and mail gifts. Generate reports. Learn Club Express association management software. Keep our website updated. Contact: President@electricauto.org.

 

Store Manager
Help EAA sell merchandise which promotes electric vehicle adoption. Web/retail experience a plus, not required. Attention to detail and good follow-through important. E-mail a brief statement of why you are interested in this role and how you can help to: President@electricauto.org
