Why EVs...a better future
Which EV for Me?
EVs for Sale
The Electric Auto Association (EAA) was formed in 1967 by Walter Laski in San Jose, California. The EAA educates and advocates for rapid Electric Vehicle adoption using local outreach through a network of grass-roots chapters, nationally and internationally.
Electric vehicles (EVs) are cleaner, safer, and cheaper to own and operate than gas cars, which are powered by petroleum derivatives that, when burned, emit noxious gases into the environment.
EAA works with schools and universities to educate students about the role that EVs play in combating climate change and improving air quality.
Electric Vehicles not only keep our Earth cleaner, their use preserves the earth's natural resources. EVs are simply a better technology.
Chapters promote and organize public events, including Ride and Drives for the purpose of increasing public awareness.
The EAA acts as a public source of information to communicate developments in electric vehicle technology, to encourage experimentation in the building of electric vehicles, and to organize public exhibits and events of electric vehicles, and to educate the public on the progress and benefits of electric vehicle technology.
