ChargePoint at EVEVA Quarterly
Wednesday, September 2
6:30pm social half-hour, 7:00pm presentation
Lane Electric Cooperative, 787 Bailey Hill Road, Eugene
and via Zoom

EVEVA is very excited that the head of public policy from ChargePoint will join us at our Quarterly Member Meeting (open to the public)! We will discuss:
  • Charging policy overview for Oregon
  • Charger installation initiatives in Oregon and Nationwide
  • Apartment-charging options and growth
  • EV charging future tech
Plus you can finally ask those questions you’ve always wanted to pose to the charging companies!

As always with our quarterly meetings, we will gather at 6:30pm for light refreshments, socializing, and sharing our EVs with all whom might be interested. The presentation begins at 7:00pm. Note that the entrance to Lane Electric's meeting room is on the opposite side of the building from 7th Avenue, and there is plenty of parking on that side of the building.

If you want to attend via Zoom, pre-register here to receive the link to join.

EVEVA Meet-Up for National Drive Electric Month

Saturday, September 19, 10:00am-11:30am
Clearwater Park, Springfield

It is National Drive Electric Month, so no better time to have an EV Meet-Up! A few years ago we held a very successful meet-up at Clearwater Park, and one of our veteran members suggested we return. This is a chance to chat with other EV owners, check out other EV models, and share tips. Bring along a mid-morning snack or coffee to enjoy time down by the river.

We will be at the parking area in the vicinity of the boat ramp.

Eugene Bright Parade

Saturday, September 26, 7:30pm
Downtown Eugene

Dress your car up with brightly-lit Minions – or any other lights – and join us for the 2026 Eugene BRIGHT Parade. This is a really fun event, with lots of interesting, creative, and whimsically-lighted walkers, bicycles, and other contraptions. Everyone participating in the EVEVA entry is welcome to decide how they will show, or honor, or be Minions from ba-na-nas to balloons to yellow lights.

Contact Chris to sign up to join us, and if you need hints, tips, or ideas on how to decorate your car. Chris will also tell you where and when to stage for the parade.
