EV's in the 2025 Legislative Session
PLUS: We will catch up on all the recent EV news
Join us for EVEVA's Spring Quarterly Meeting. Our guest is Representative Susan McLain, who is Co-Chair of the legislature's Joint Committee on Transportation.
It is potentially a big year for EVs in the state legislature with a variety of EV-related bills in play, the Clean Vehicle rebate program desperately needing repair, and a retrenchment of federal programs supporting EVs. Most importantly, the legislature needs to pass a comprehensive multi-year transportation package while facing a revenue shortfall brought about in part because of stagnant gas taxes. How will they fix it, and how might that affect EV owners?
Join us in-person at the office of Lane Electric Cooperative in Eugene at 6:30 for a social half-hour with light refreshments, or log on at 7:00pm when the presentation gets started to participate by Zoom.

Drive Electric Earth Month
Drive Electric Earth Month is here, and you are invited to learn how to drive electric yourself! EVEVA is providing a chance to look at EVs and talk to EV owners at two local events, plus you can check out all of the DEEM events nationwide.
Corvallis Planet Palooza
: Saturday, April 19, 2:00-4:00pm. EVEVA will have cars outside the Corvallis Community Center at 2601 NW Tyler Avenue. This is a big Earth Day event with lots of exhibits and fun activities inside the community center. Please stop by!
Eugene EV Meet-Up and Show
: Saturday, May 3, 10:00am-2:00pm, Sheldon Community Center at 2445 Willakenzie Road in Eugene. This event is a combination meet-up for EV owners and drivers who want to share information and their cars, and an EV display for the EV-curious to explore options and talk to veteran owners about what it is like to drive EV. This is a great way to celebrate Earth Day and encourage each other to travel more sustainably.
