About this event

Join the Wisconsin EVA for a Scenic Exploration of the State's Western Border and EV Innovation!

Embark on an exciting two-day electric vehicle adventure showcasing the beauty of Wisconsin and the cutting-edge of EV technology. You’ll be traversing the state's picturesque western border, experiencing stunning landscapes and connecting with fellow EV enthusiasts.

Our Journey Begins:

  • Day 1: Ashland to La Crosse (August 15th):

    • Kick off the Road Trip in the charming city of Ashland, Wisconsin, located on the shores of Lake Superior, on August 15th.

    • From there, you'll embark on a scenic drive, following the Lake Superior Scenic Byway, then tracing the western border of the state. Expect breathtaking views of the Mississippi River and the rolling hills of western Wisconsin.

    • The first day will conclude in the vibrant city of La Crosse, where the group will have an opportunity to recharge ourselves and our vehicles. We will enjoy some live music provided by David Zollo and Brian Cooper.

Day 2: La Crosse to Madison (August 16th):

    • Continue the journey along the western border of the state, soaking in the natural beauty of the region.

    • Then, turn eastward, heading towards the state capital, Madison.

    • The road trip will culminate with an exclusive tour of Hoffman EV, a leading facility specializing in electric vehicle conversions. Witness firsthand the innovative processes involved in transforming traditional vehicles into sustainable, electric machines.
